Complaints

I feel like writing an official complaint but I know it won't do any good so I shall just blog about it. Bear with me as I release my frustration.

Here in Liverpool, I live in a building run by a company called Urban Sleep.

The rooms are spacious, I get a double bed and my own bathroom so I really shouldn't have any complaints, I know but seriously, it's quite frustrating.

1) Internet
Apparently internet in the UK is supposed to be super fast and all that. I guess it is super fast everywhere else in UK except in this building. The internet here is horrible. It is either slow or it just keeps disconnecting. In November I made a complaint about the internet and the person managing told me that they would install something faster next month which meant December. So about a few days ago, they came over to set up our own router which was great because now my iPhone can use the wifi instead of using 3G which is battery-sucking. However, they had to take it away today apparently for half an hour but its almost 6 hours and we still hasn't gotten it back so wifi is down in my flat. Even worse is the landline completely doesn't work in my room. UGH. Thank goodness the building's wifi still does so I'm able to go online but its so unstable, I can't load a page without refreshing it at least twice nor can I watch any videos on Youtube.

2) Privacy
I understand how they have to come check on us every once in a while to make sure we're not creating a dumpster in the flat. But why can't they knock? The person just entered our flat with her master key which I think is super rude. Hello, we have a lease and thus should have exclusive possession. How are we supposed to feel safe in our own home since she can just suddenly just barge in at anytime. I wonder what she would do if we were out, leave or just walking around continue inspecting. And because of this, if anything in our flat ever go missing, it will her be fault.

3) Shoes
Being asian, we take off our shoes at home. While doing her inspections or coming to change the light bulbs, please take your damn shoes off! It's so rude. Today we told them twice to remove their shoes but they kinda just ignored us which I felt was really rude and disrespectful. Seriously, I just mopped the floor yesterday and you just step in with your shoes. ARGH!

Aside from that I suppose there isn't anything to complain about in this flat. Oh and the light bulbs take forever to get changed and she won't leave any extra because everytime she comes round, she doesn't ever bring extra, just sufficient to change all that are out. Just leave some la, my god.

Okay, so now that that's out, I shall go bath and start on another book :)
